Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care that honors resident rights, dignity, and individuality.
- Complete daily assessments and document physical and emotional well-being.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with residents, families, and team members.
- Keep nursing leadership informed of resident status and clinical changes.
- Support and supervise unit staff in alignment with policies and procedures.
- Uphold organizational standards, safety protocols, and infection control practices.
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident and family needs.
Requirements
- Current Michigan LPN license (required).
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
- Two years of nursing experience preferred (home health, med-surg, critical care, or similar).
- A genuine commitment to serving an elder population with patience, respect and compassion.
Schedule
- Employment type: Full-time, Part-time or Per Diem
- Shift: Day or Night Shift, 12-hour shifts
- Weekends: Rotating weekend schedule for Full-time and Part-time, required
Pay
- Pay rate: $29.50 – 32.40 per hour, based on licensure
- Night shift differential: $1.00 per hour
