Responsibilities
- Achieve vital contributions to the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Under RN supervision, administer medications, including IV therapy (if certified), and perform diagnostic tests according to protocols.
- Collaborate in controlled substance counts, adhere to safety techniques, and respond to codes or health emergencies within guidelines.
- Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions to demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Prefer one (1) year of clinic experience.
- Maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
- Obtain and maintain CPR certification.
