Valor Healthcare is looking for a passionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Williston, ND. Core Responsibilities

• Actively assists with patient care, physical examinations and ancillary tests.
• Performs the annual and routine nursing assessments and preventive health services.
• Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions.
• Operates diagnostic equipment and collects lab specimens.
• Cleans treatment rooms and supplies, and submits results to medical providers.
• Completes clinical reminders and assists with front desk functions.
• Provides patient and family health education and collaborates with non-VA providers.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Minimum one-year experience as an LPN/LVN in a related primary care or ambulatory care setting, with preference for government healthcare experience.
• Credentialing and good standing with the Veterans Health Administration (VA).
• Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment, or in any U.S. state or territory, depending on VA contractual requirements.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and strong computer skills.
• Energetic and optimistic demeanor.

Benefits

Valor Healthcare offers a competitive salary range of $29-31.19 per hour, which final compensation will be based on relevant factors including work experience, skills, certifications, and internal equity.

Pay

The estimated annual salary is $72,764.
