Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

About the role

TrustPoint Hospital is a leading inpatient psych and physical rehab hospital in Murfreesboro, TN. We are currently seeking passionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Helping individuals suffering from mental health or substance use disorders
• Maintain patient health and administer basic care
• Collaborate with others to meet patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs
• Provide comfort to patients and implement nursing interventions in line with the plan of care
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, coworkers, and healthcare providers
• Administer medications safely and accurately
• Document patient symptoms, responses, and progress thoroughly and accurately

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• One or more years of nursing experience within clinical areas of service
• Current LPN/LVN license as required by state
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available)
