About the role
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to provide basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The LPN will assist with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, and medication administration.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to supervising RN
- Administer medications as prescribed by physician
- Help patients with meals and other nutritional needs
- Document patient care activities and progress in medical records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current license to practice as an LPN in state of employment
- Basic computer skills
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Skills
- Proficient in using medical software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
