About the role
Shores of Worthington is a Residential Health Care Facility striving to provide the highest levels of quality care through continuous improvement, and the involvement of the interdisciplinary team and the entire community.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and facility guidelines
- Supervising CNAs
- Medication administration
- Wound and treatment care
- Provide general nursing care to patients in accordance to the facility nursing policy and procedure
- Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan for RN Nurse review
Qualifications & Skills
- Current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
- Able to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
- Able to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
