Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Regency at Shelby Township. Shifts are available both Full-Time and Part-Time, offering 8-hour afternoon shifts and 12-hour night shifts with a differential of $3.00 for the 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, provides and manages nursing care services and health education to nursing home guests.
• Serves as a primary caregiver, supervising the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and other team members who care for guests.
• Provides safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests.
• Affords comprehensive assessments of guests' health and promptly notifies physicians of any changes in their status.
• Develops and implements appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize guests' conditions and prevent complications.
• Contributes to the guest's assessment (MDS/CAA's) and the development of a plan of care.

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Currently holds a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state.
• Holds a CPR AHA certification.
