About the Role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides efficient nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), focusing on achieving positive clinical outcomes and ensuring patient and family satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients/residents by collecting data, observing conditions, and reporting changes.
- Assist in nursing assessments and care planning.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Supervise and monitor care provided by unlicensed staff.
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved practical or vocational nursing school.
- Current licensure or pending licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification, as required.
