Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN

About the role

Premise Health is proud to partner with Burns and McDonnell and is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who loves delivering excellent patient care and enjoys both clinical duties and front-desk support.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration, wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week, worked during clinic hours Monday & Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
