About the role

Working with the Unit Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse applies a general understanding of nursing principles to develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans, ensuring the needs of residents are met. Responsibilities include assisting in the orientation and supervision of nursing personnel, managing daily unit operations per shift, and assuming leadership duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans
• Assist in orienting and supervising nursing personnel
• Oversee daily operations of the unit on a per-shift basis
• Assume leadership responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing
• Current State Board of Nursing license
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing preferred
