Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

About the role

We are seeking an LPN for our Adult Medicine practice at our Cape Family Practice location in Cape Coral, FL.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake including vital signs, medical history, and medication review
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards
• Record chart information accurately into our patient management system
• Assist Clinical Coordinator and other clinical team members as needed
• Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations

Requirements

• Valid current State of Florida license to practice as an LPN
• Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately
• Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients
• Knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake, and common medications
• One year of clinical experience or a combination of medical education and work experience
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
