About the Role

We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team. Our roles include Medication Teaching, Nutrition Counseling, Respiratory Assessment, Cardiac Care, Wound Care, Disease Education, and Pediatric Care. Each position involves providing comprehensive care in the comfort of patients' homes, ensuring medication compliance, setting up IV therapy, administering injections, providing nutrition counseling, conducting respiratory assessments, offering cardiac care, managing wound care, and educating patients on various diseases and conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Meditation Teaching: Monitor medication compliance, set-up, IV therapy, injections, and provide necessary education for administering injections.
  • Nutrition Counseling: Ensure compliance with special diets, weight monitoring, and the utilization of intravenous nutrition such as TPN and tube feeding.
  • Respiratory Assessment: Provide instruction on the use of inhalers, aerosol machines, oxygen, and the proper care of all equipment.
  • Cardiac Care: Offer continual monitoring of chest pain, blood pressure, edema, and education on signs and symptoms of further cardiac problems.
  • Wound Care: Conduct dressing changes, wound vac therapy, assess wound healing, and identify signs of infection. Provide dressing supplies and order wound vacs as necessary.
  • Disease Education: Inform patients about the disease process of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure, diabetes, renal failure, multiple sclerosis, osteoporosis, and more.
  • Pediatric Care: Caring for infants and children with a variety of diagnoses and special needs, performing skills such as PICC care, tracheostomy care, chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition, nasogastric or enterostomy feedings, medication administration, providing education to parents/caregivers, and more.

Qualifications

To succeed in these roles, candidates should possess a relevant healthcare degree, certification, and experience in home healthcare settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule
