Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

About the role

North Star Manor, a long-term care facility in Warren, MN, is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our nursing team. This position focuses on providing consistent, high-quality care to long-term residents while working closely with CNAs, medication aides, and the nursing team. This is a part-time position working every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality resident care in accordance with established policies and professional standards
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring and reporting changes in condition
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and care teams regarding care updates
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including:
  • Care plans
  • Daily charting
  • Medication administration records
  • Lab results and other required forms
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Certified Medication Assistants (CMAs)
• Assign CNA duties based on resident needs, acuity, and care requirements

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Minnesota
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire)

Pay

$30.00 – $36.50 per hour depending on experience. Shift differential: +$2.00/hour for shifts between 4:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Sign-On Bonus Available.
