A Day in the Life of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
You play a vital role in our clinic. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose!
- Maintain resident condition and needs
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor for side effects and report changes
- Oversee nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff
- Complete documentation and admit/discharge residents
- Report bruises, skin tears, or neglect
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPPA regulations
- Uphold facility policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and build relationships
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure with the WI Board of Nursing
- CPR certification
- Confidentiality and compliance with HIPPA regulations
- Desire to work with the elderly
- Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing (preferred but not required)
Work Schedule
- Full-time and part-time positions
- 8 or 12 hour shifts
- Days, evenings, overnight, and weekends
- Must work every other weekend
Pay and Benefits
- Competitive salary of $27.00 to $31.00 per hour
- Comprehensive benefits
- Sign-on bonus of $7500
