Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position Overview

As an LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while adhering to physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory guidelines. Your attention to detail and compassionate care will play a key role in the lives of our residents.

Qualifications

• LPN license in the state of practice
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain one
• Nursing experience is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Document and report changes in patient conditions, including infections, skin conditions, and weight fluctuations
• Follow procedures for incident reporting, narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction
• Participate in rounds with physicians and collaborate with healthcare team members
• Update patient records, including room changes, admissions, and discharges
• Utilize the Quality Life Manual to monitor patient progress in care programs
