Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

About the role

We are currently searching for Licensed Practical Nurses, LPNs to join our friendly, caring and supportive team at Guttenberg Care Center.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive the medication and nursing care they need as directed by their individual care plan.
• Conduct resident assessments.
• Be a team leader.
• Afford residents with the knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement: Unencumbered State of Iowa Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN license.
• Prior Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN experience is preferable but not required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
