Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Beacon Health Management is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.

About the role

In conjunction with the Unit Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing in the development and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit per shift, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans
• Ensure the needs of patients are met
• Assist in the orientation and supervision of nursing personnel
• Attend to the daily operations of the unit per shift
• Assume leadership responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing
• Current license by the State Board of Nursing
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing preferred
