Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Harry Meyering Center is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support adults with disabilities living in homes throughout the Mankato area, helping them stay healthy, independent, and connected to their community.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to individuals in their homes and in the community, in a respectful, person-centered way
• Administer medications and treatments per each person's care plan, and track and report any medication errors
• Train and coach direct support staff on medication administration, CPR, and recognizing signs of illness
• Keep medical records complete, accurate, and up to date
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers to relay updates, request orders, and get clarification when needed
• Step in for hands-on direct care when needed, including help with daily activities, home tasks, and medication administration

Requirements

• Current Minnesota LPN license in good standing
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving record check
• Ability to pass the MN Department of Human Services Background Study

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfort with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office) and willingness to learn digital charting tools
• Experience in home and community-based services or a similar care setting

Pay

$27–$30/hour, based on experience

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with some flexibility if needed. No on-call, no scheduled weekends or overnights.
