Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Responsibilities

• Aid in care planning and treatments for residents under RN supervision.
• Consult with other nursing staff as necessary to apply knowledge and resources.
• Review resident medical records to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Document care provided and report changes in resident status to shift supervisor.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and expand responsibilities.
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with FutureCare’s nursing facility philosophy.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in the state of Maryland.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility.
• Current CPR license.

• Team player with strong work ethic and willingness to assist.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills with all personnel, residents, and families.

• Basic knowledge and skills in nursing care for the resident population.
