Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Freedom Behavioral is providing services to Adult Male Psychiatric Patients and is seeking compassionate PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our growing team. As a valued member of our team, you will help deliver essential care in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Position Details

Shift Availability: Day Shift (7 AM - 7 PM) & Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM)
Status: Full-time; PRN

Responsibilities

• Administering direct patient care within the scope of your LPN license
• Assisting with patient assessments and documenting findings accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitoring patient condition and promptly reporting any changes to the RN or medical staff
• Assisting with the completion of admission paperwork and ensuring documentation meets facility standards
• Adhering to infection control policies and procedures
• Participating in performance improvement initiatives and chart reviews
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to implement patient care plans and interventions

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse program
• LPN License through the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
• At least one year of experience in mental health or psychiatric care preferred
