NY State Licensed Practical Nurse Certification (required)
Responsibilities
- Assist the School Nurse/RN in charge of the Health Office
- Assess students
- Attend to minor medical needs
- Deliver medication as prescribed by doctor orders
- Assist with hygiene/toileting of younger students
- Perform medical procedures as appropriate for a school health office
- Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
