Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

About the role

The Embassy of Tunkhannock is a small, family-oriented facility seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. The position is currently open for the 2PM-10PM shift and offers a $5,000 bonus for full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assess patients’ health status and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician.
• Monitor vital signs and report significant changes to supervising nurses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of patient living areas.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments in the medical record.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new methods and principles.
