Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Key Responsibilities

• provide essential care to residents, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily activities (such as bathing, dressing, and eating), and ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
• administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring that residents adhere to their medication schedules.
• regularly check on residents' health, observing any changes in their condition and reporting these to physicians.
• work closely with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure quality care delivery.
• provide emotional support to residents and their families.
• communicate with patients' families about their loved ones' health and care plans, ensuring that families are informed and involved in the care process.
• keep accurate records of each resident's progress and health status.
