Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

About the role

Clinton Manor Living Center is a mission-focused organization providing long-term care with skilled nursing and specialized support for individuals with high medical needs, intellectual and developmental disabilities. The nursing team plays a vital role in supporting residents and individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support residents recuperating from surgery, stroke or illness
• Provide hands-on, person-centered, direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN or RN program
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN/LVN or RN in the state of Illinois
• Previous experience as a long-term care nurse preferred
• Proficient in using computer and programs utilized by the facility
• CPR certification required
• Sufficient written and verbal communication skills to understand instructions and complete basic charting functions
• Maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN or RN program
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN/LVN or RN in the state of Illinois at the time of hire
• Previous experience as a long-term care nurse is preferred
• Must be proficient in the use of computer and programs utilized by the facility
• CPR certification is required as per guidelines at the healthcare provider level
• Must have sufficient written and verbal communication skills to understand instructions and complete basic charting functions

Pay

FT day shift: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
FT and PT Evening shift: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Shift differential pay of $2.00 an hour for hours between 2pm-6am and all weekend shifts
Pick up shift bonus

Schedule

FT day shift: 6am-6pm
FT and PT Evening shift: 2pm-10pm
