About the role

Briarfield Health Care Centers is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our teams across Mahoning & Columbiana Counties. We have 9 locations offering a variety of shifts (4‑, 8‑, or 12‑hour) and a range of skill‑mix environments.

• Assisted Living Locations:
  • The Inn at Christine Valley
  • The Inn at Ironwood
  • The Inn at Glenellen
  • The Inn at Poland Way
  • The Inn at Walker Mill
  • The Inn at Old Saybrook

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services to residents while promoting the highest level of well‑being, as directed by management.
• Direct day‑to‑day functions of Resident Assistants (RAs) in accordance with current long‑term care rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Focus on delivering high‑quality service.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• Attend all required training, in‑service sessions, and staff meetings.
• Demonstrate excellent literacy, writing, documentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Make prompt and accurate judgments regarding elder care and emergencies.
• Work and communicate effectively with minimal supervision in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program or college/university.
• Current, unencumbered, active Ohio LPN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of experience in elderly care (preferred).
