Job Summary

Gen Med/Surgical adult unit primarily cares for pre/post surgical patients, including but not limited to: orthopedics, bariatrics, vascular, neurology, and general surgery. The unit also serves general medical patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, skin & wound conditions, and infections.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct care to an assigned group of patients under the supervision of a RN and in cooperation with other nursing staff.
  • Responsible for fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital and demonstrating behavior consistent with the Core Values.
  • Supports the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an LPN School of Nursing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possesses current state LPN license

Pay

Pay rate: $22.32 - $33.48 based on relevant experience + $3.00 shift differential if applicable. Full-time eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule

Full-time or part-time availability.
