Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

About the role

Axia Women's Health is the nation’s largest community-based, integrated women's health network, serving women throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kentucky. The network spans OB/GYN care, breast health, high-risk pregnancy care, urogynecology, behavioral health, and fertility, with over 400 providers across nearly 150 locations. This position is based at the South Jersey Fertility Center in Marlton, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes established triage protocols and guidelines to evaluate and assess patient’s/caller’s health care needs based on signs, symptoms, complaints, and lab results.
• Obtains input and direction from care center providers to determine and recommend the best clinical course of action for patients/callers.
• Accurately documents patient’s/caller’s signs, symptoms, complaints, nursing assessment, provided advice, and responses in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Follows policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency, departmental effectiveness, and improved patient/caller healthcare outcomes.
• Pulls lab and imaging results, adds them to the EMR, and consults with physicians or RNs regarding test results as needed.
• Assists with medication refill requests following provider-approved protocols and under appropriate supervision.
• Performs phlebotomy (where permitted by state regulations and facility policies).
• Provides patient education on prescribed follow-ups, medications, and therapies, reinforcing provider-directed instructions.
• Assists with phone triage under RN or provider supervision.
• Works flexible schedule and travels to satellite locations as needed.

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (NJ state-specific).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient or ambulatory setting.
• Prior experience in a lead, supervisory, or charge role strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical workflows, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with EHR systems and healthcare IT; Artisan experience preferred.

Pay

$26 to $31 per hour. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
