Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Avalon Care Center at Northpointe in Spokane is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team. New graduate Nurses are welcome to apply.

Pay

$40.00 - $48.45 per hour. Placement within the wage range is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions. Shift differentials: $1.50 for evenings, $2.50 for nights.

Schedule

• Full-time: Day shift, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm (regular work schedule at the same site)
• PRN positions also available

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, or other authorized health care provider, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will:

• Participate in the development, implementation, and modification of the comprehensive plan of care for facility residents.
• Practice within the legal boundaries for practical nursing authorized by the state for the delivery of patient care and related services.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state.
• Understanding that state and Federal rules and regulations govern practices within the facility.
• Working knowledge of infection control principles and practices.
• Must pass criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
• Compliance with vaccine mandate: either proof of vaccination or documentation for a medical or religious exemption.
• Recent clinical experience, education, or specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
