About the role

The LPN Charge Nurse plays a pivotal role in planning, executing, and overseeing nursing services for assigned residents. This includes adhering to quality care standards, facility policies, legal requirements, medical practices, and physician instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently plans and provides professional care while aligning with the needs of residents and the changing medical landscape.
  • Maintains professionalism in interactions with residents, physicians, families, peers, and support staff.
  • Documents crucial information related to resident care accurately and comprehensively.
  • Administers prescribed medications and oversees accurate record-keeping in line with facility policies.

Requirements

  • Valid state nursing license in good standing (or in the process of becoming a registered nurse).
  • In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and long-term care regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Collaborative team player with previous experience in long-term care preferred.

Additional Expectations

  • All LPN positions require weekend on-call availability to support both staff and residents.

Pay

Starting Pay: Competitive rates up to $35 per hour, based on experience
Differentials Offered: Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts, Weekend Differential: $2.00 for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday, Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours

Qualifications
