Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

About the role

Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for per diem home care opportunities throughout Bergen County, New Jersey. We are a premier private-pay home care agency dedicated to delivering exceptional one-on-one care in the comfort of patients’ homes. We are currently seeking skilled LPNs for specialized cases in Elmwood Park, Hackensack, Rochelle Park, Ridgefield, and surrounding Bergen County communities. Ventilator and tracheostomy (trach) care experience is required for these specialized assignments.

Pay

• $45.00 per hour for nursing shifts
• $85.00 per LPN visit (weekdays)

Schedule

• Weekday shifts
• Weekend shifts
• Day shifts
• Overnight shifts

Per diem assignments are based on patient needs and nurse availability.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey LPN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience in an acute care or home care setting
• Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience
• Current BLS certification
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past 12 months, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
• Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical exemption
