About the role
The weekend option Licensed Practical Nurse opportunity at Heritage Park Commons Assisted Living offers part-time day shifts from 6a-6p every Saturday & Sunday. As an LPN, you will develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff, promoting their physical and psychosocial well-being.
Responsibilities
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet the needs of residents.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents.
- Support a respectful and positive work environment.
Requirements
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
- Experience in assisted living or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality.
