Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Acute Care, Resource Pool - Med/Surg, Full-Time

Role: Provides nursing care within the Facility Resource Pool under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Provider. Responsibilities Collects, monitors, and documents patient data, responses, and vital signs.Performs patient assessments, administers medications, and educates patients and families.Maintains accurate, confidential medical records and adheres to organizational policies and regulatory standards.Informs healthcare team of patient status, responses, and changes.Provides care aligned with individualized plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.Floats across various nursing units as needed. Qualifications & Skills Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.Minimum of one year of LPN experience or equivalent residency program completion.Current LPN licensure recognized by the NCSBN Compact or applicable state licensing.Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-unit environment, with knowledge of infection control, medication administration, and patient confidentiality. Additional Details Non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager.Flexible work shifts; may include weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.May require use of specialized equipment and adherence to regulatory agency requirements.
