Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- 11pm-7am Monday through Friday
Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse's role is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to the residents
- Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants
- Pass medication and complete assessments and treatments
- Document the provision of these services
- Occasionally participate in activities of daily living care or assist the nursing assistants
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina (NC) or a compact license that allows you to practice in NC
