Licensed Practical Nurse Lovejoy St Vincents HC SCH

Responsibilities

• Administers nursing care to outpatient patients.
• Delivers patient care through planning, implementation, and evaluation processes.
• Works under the direction of RNs, NP, PA, or MD.
• Maintains departmental policies, objectives, quality improvement programs, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
• Maintains confidentiality of hospital and staff information.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• New York State Licensure.
• Previous occupational health or infection control experience preferred.
• Relevant and current out-patient experience preferred in pediatrics, OB/GYN, and/or Medicine, depending on location and services offered at site.

Qualifications

• Able to work well in stressful situations and conditions of frequent interruption.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
