Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards and nursing practice acts.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to plan, direct, supervise, and deliver direct patient and family care.
• Participate in precepting and mentoring students and new staff.
• Support a family-centered approach to care for obstetric and gynecological patients.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure in the state.
• Paid preference: One year of clinical experience with medication administration.
• Current BLS & CPR certifications.
• Ability to perform medium physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

Clinical setting with exposure to patient care, visitors, and medical staff.
