LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE II

About the role

Northside Hospital Gwinnett (Lawrenceville) is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join their team. The event for interviews will be held on Tuesday, July 28th from 10am – 1pm.

Responsibilities

• Render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, in accordance with the philosophy, policies and procedures of Northside Hospital.
• Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience as an LPN.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications may be preferred in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Skills

• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
