Overview
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a home health care setting is responsible for providing direct, one-on-one care to patients in their homes. This role involves monitoring patient health, administering treatments, managing medications, and offering essential support to patients with various medical needs. Collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians, is required to deliver high-quality, compassionate care that improves patient well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, one-on-one care to patients in their homes
- Monitor patient health
- Administer treatments
- Manage medications
- Offer essential support to patients with various medical needs
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians
Requirements
- Trade School Graduate for Nursing
- LPN License in state of practice (VA)
- BLS (required within 90 days)
- 2 years' experience
Qualifications
- Prior hospice experience (strongly preferred)
Pay
- Hourly Range: $22.39-$37/hour
- $3,000 Sign-On Bonus available for eligible candidates
Schedule
- Full Time (40 hours/week)
- Night Shift (12AM-8:30AM)
