Salary: $31.25–$34.13 BOE
Schedule: Full time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM plus on-call (OC)
Location: Hamilton County, Ohio and surrounding areas
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nursing degree
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
- BLS certification
- Hospice experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care under the supervision of an RN
- Assist registered nurses in carrying out the plan of care
- Perform specialized procedures (as defined in the state nurse practice act) as directed by the RN under physician’s orders
- Actively participate in the IDGH to ensure the patient plan of care is kept current and identified issues are addressed
- Reinforce patient and family education regarding end-of-life care
- Keep the RNCM informed of changes noted during care
- Assume responsibility for personal and vocational growth through participation in nursing organizations, in-service programs, workshops, conferences, and individual research
