About the Role

Provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, focusing on patients across all ages. Ensures continuity of care through effective communication with healthcare team members, delegates tasks appropriately, maintains accurate documentation, and adheres to safety and departmental policies. Participates in performance improvement initiatives and strives to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks within scope of practice
• Administer medications safely
• Support patient education and document appropriately
• Collaborate with healthcare team for care planning
• Maintain a safe environment and comply with policies
• Contribute to performance improvement efforts

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Massachusetts
• Successful completion of an accredited LPN program
• Valid driver's license
• Preferred certifications: BLS and CPR
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of the nursing process
• Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing is preferred
