Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-Time/Part-Time/Casual All Shifts

About the Role

North Shore Health, part of Heritage Health Services, is a leading provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation in the Upper Midwest. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or Director of Nursing (DON) to provide coordinated nursing care, implement and evaluate resident/patient care plans, maintain safety, and supervise nursing assistants.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care through coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the resident’s/patient’s plan of care.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for assigned residents/patients for the shift of duty.
• Adhere to standards of care for the area and follow all Center policies and procedures.
• Manage the environment to maintain resident/patient safety.
• Supervise resident/patient care activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Perform duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

• Licensed in the State of Wisconsin as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.).
• Ability to calculate drug dosages.
• Meet all health requirements imposed by law.
• Strong interpersonal skills to relate positively with residents, families, volunteers, and staff.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Basic computer knowledge with aptitude to learn company applications.

Pay

Wages up to $32.75 per hour.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling with opportunities for full‑time, part‑time, and PRN/Casual positions on all shifts (depending on facility needs). Shift differentials are offered for PM/NOC shifts.
