Licensed Practical Nurse - Full Time Dayshift

Responsibilities

• Dispense and oversee medication management with oversight from the Healthcare Coordinator
• Absorb and assist Cognitive and Behavioral Therapists in behavior management of residents as needed
• Review Medication Administration records
• Communicate daily or as needed with physicians and healthcare providers
• Absorb and assist the Healthcare Coordinator in monitoring chart accuracy and completion
• Absess and evaluate resident issues and medical concerns
• Document all pertinent resident medical/care information
• Participate in direct care of residents when needed

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania LPN License, required
• BLS certification, preferred
• Must be able to weather the elements, as LPN will travel with the medical cart outside to each resident apartment on campus
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and promote a positive environment for both team members and participants
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm in tense and high-pressure situations
• Proven track record of timeliness and accountability
