About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assist in directing nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Delegate tasks and monitor staff performance
- Observe patients for symptoms or reactions
- Notify physicians of emergencies or changes in patient condition
- Implement physician orders and perform assigned duties
- Serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies to ensure adequate coverage
- Deliver quality geriatric nursing care and follow doctor’s orders
- Maintain adherence to regulatory standards
Requirements
- High school diploma and graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing with proof of renewal
- Annual CPR certification
- Participation in in-service training and staff meetings
