Licensed Practical Nurse (Full Time)
About the Role
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Position Details
Located at Mercy REHAB HOSPITAL in Springfield, Missouri. This is a full-time position.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
- Current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed; must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
One or more of the following certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to:
- Specific certifications as required by the unit (not listed in detail).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
