Licensed Practical Nurse/Endoscopy Technician - Full-Time, Days

About the Role

Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, focusing on data collection, patient monitoring, documentation, and patient/family education. Performs licensed patient care tasks as delegated.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient-centered care based on individualized plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Monitors and documents patient status, including vital signs, dressings, drains, and lab results.
• Communicates observations and changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintains accurate, confidential medical records.
• Uses specialized equipment for data collection and orients patients and families to routines.
• Administers and documents medications per policy.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
• At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent through residency programs or recognized program equivalencies.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or the state of practice. If obtaining RN licensure, interim acceptance is granted until licensure is finalized.
