Licensed Practical Nurse / Endoscopy Technician - Full-Time, Days

About the role

Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, focusing on patient monitoring, data collection, and education.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized care plans
• Monitors and documents patient status (vital signs, lab values, dressings)
• Communicates changes to the healthcare team
• Maintains confidential medical records
• Administers medications
• Performs delegated functions using specialized equipment

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved LPN program
• At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent training such as residency programs or transition programs

Licenses/Certifications

• Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or the state of practice
• RN licensure obtained during employment is accepted temporarily

Skills and Abilities

• Basic knowledge of patient care procedures and equipment

Non-management role reporting to a supervisor, with responsibilities including patient care in the Gastrointestinal Diagnostic Lab.
