About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Emergency Department team. This fast-paced setting serves over 60,000 patients annually in a 49-bed unit. The role involves utilizing basic physical assessment skills, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, and assisting in the supervision of nursing staff.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and execute clinical interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Support daily unit operations, often taking on leadership responsibilities as needed.
- Assist in the supervision of nursing staff.
Requirements
- Practical Nursing license.
- Foundational nursing knowledge equivalent to a two-year college degree.
- Less than 1 year of experience.
