Licensed Practical Nurse - Dialysis

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage supplies and staff labor hours
• Assist with billing log updates
• Perform patient care duties, including obtaining blood samples and documenting treatment activities
• Review and update patient medication profiles monthly
• Maintain compliance with healthcare practice acts and legal requirements
• Document treatments and communications accurately in patient records
• Report patient condition changes and equipment issues
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education
• Work under supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and maintain thorough documentation

Requirements

• Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state (must be maintained)
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire
• Ability to distinguish primary colors
• Preferred prior dialysis experience
• Completion of USRC training program within 8 weeks of hire
• Strong communication skills in English
• Good organizational and computer skills, with proficiency in clinical applications within 90 days
