About the role
Delta Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our patient-focused team, providing chronic hemodialysis care and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Develops nursing care plans involving assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, training, and education
- Communicates with physicians and other healthcare team members to interpret, adjust, and complete patient care plans
- Assists in research studies related to hemodialysis
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a health-related field preferred
- Current appropriate state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Hemodialysis experience desirable
- ICU/CCU experience preferred
- Successful completion of a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis
- Valid driver’s license and insurance, when indicated/applicable for business travel by automobile
- Computer knowledge desirable
- Possess reliable transportation
- Current BLS certification
