Licensed Practical Nurse - Clinic

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care in an orthopedics department.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient well-being and contributing to care plans
• Administering medications and monitoring for adverse reactions
• Performing laboratory tests and therapeutic services
• Educating patients and families on treatment, self-care, and follow-up
• Documenting provider encounters, transcribing orders, and updating patient charts
• Ensuring safety and performing additional assigned duties

Qualifications and skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for the respective state
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive movements
• Effective communication skills and attention to safety

Schedule

Day shift schedule, no weekends or holidays, with coverage for multiple locations.
