About the role

Medcor is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our onsite health team at a clinic in Willmar, MN. The position is located at Worksite Health & Wellness Clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborative work with the medical and operational leadership at Medcor, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure.
  • Provide patient care, ongoing workers compensation case management, Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation, and treatment plan monitoring.
  • Work closely with outside medical providers.
  • Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on-site clinic.
  • Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s clients and employees.
  • Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence-Based Medicine protocols.
  • Build and maintain internal team relationships.
  • Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
  • Pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
  • Documentation of care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools.
  • Case Management.
  • Medical charting.

Requirements

  • Lovely disposition and passion for helping others.
  • Valid licensure for the position in which you are applying.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong computer and technology skills, including familiarity with EMR software.
  • Able to lift a 50lb emergency response bag.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive and outgoing personality.
  • Able to go above and beyond for the benefit of the patients and clients.
  • Able to have fun while doing the job.

Pay

$35.00-$38.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 3:00pm - 12:00am.

Qualifications

Love what you do, have valid licensure, have current CPR/BLS, have strong computer and other technology skills, be strong enough to lift a 50lb emergency response bag, possess excellent verbal / written communication skills, have a positive and outgoing personality, be willing to go above and beyond just because that's who you are, be passionate about people and giving them the best care humanly possible, be able to have fun.

Skills

Plus if you are comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment, have relevant occupational health experience, have experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
